The Ultimate Unattended Truck Weigh In SolutionKiosk automated weigh in for truck

Rice Lake Weighing Systems partnered with BMG Seltec, a premier supplier of asphalt and aggregate operations support software, plant control systems, and point-of-sale ticketing systems. With BMG Seltec, RLWS developed the Automated Ticketing Suite kiosk system for truck identification, load assignment and weighing, and ticketing for concrete, aggregate, and asphalt plant operations. With this new kiosk system, plant managers optimize the flow of trucks and materials and increase efficiencies throughout their entire operation.

Automated From Beginning to End

This powerful kiosk system automates everything from the point of sale, to the invoice, to account management. With a user-friendly interface, these kiosks integrate seamlessly with any sized aggregate or asphalt plant's central office and accounting system. Comprised of rugged NEMA 4 steel for long-lasting durability in any weather, this unique solution virtually eliminates transaction errors as well as supports automatic identification of trucks, fully automated or semi-unattended ticketing.

Its Premium Truck Ticketing™ software helps plant operators to quickly and accurately manage weigh-in and weigh-out functions, ticket printing and reporting on daily transactions. And with an intuitive Windows®-based design, plant operators gain the versatility and reliability needed to accelerate sales transactions without error and to gain a competitive advantage over the competition.

Single Kiosk Configuration

A single multi-function kiosk can be used for both the weigh-in and weigh-out functions. Trucks can proceed directly to the scale without the driver ever having to exit the vehicle. Tare weights can be printerestablished as often as required, per transaction, or set to expire after a longer period of time. The driver may interact with the kiosk to change load information, such as Customer, Job, Destination or Product. After the truck is loaded, it returns to the scale and weighs out using the same kiosk to capture the truck’s loaded weight and print the ticket.

Multi Kiosk Configuration

This configuration uses multiple kiosks and scales, as well as silo loadout systems to automate the loading of material in the trucks. Trucks are checked in and directed to the correct silo loadout lane or sent to be ground loaded, depending on the required product inventory location. Lane verification kiosks check to ensure the truck is at the correct silo before allowing a loadout to begin. A silo loaded truck is weighed and the ticket saved to a “ticket stack.” When the driver reaches the print ticket kiosk, the ticket is retrieved from the stack and printed.
